Job description


The Assisant Project Manager will work Monday through Friday for a minimum of eight (8) hours per day and weekends as needed.
Workplace Setting:
 Professional office environment
 Some travel will be required
 On-site offices of assigned project

Duties & responsibilities

The Project Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:
 Preparing and reviewing project submittals
 Forwarding and follwing up with application to owner
 Processing application to subcontractors
 Reviewin and approving contracts to subcontractors
 Will be working on Viewpoint to update project records and financials.
 Creating and updating CO log
 Reviewing RFI’s prior to forwarding to subcontractors and clients
 Requesting proposals from subcontractors for Change Orders
 Preparing and following up on Change Orders to client
 Preparing and following up on Change Orders to subcontractos and vendors
 Assisting in weekly and monthly projetct schedule updates
 Keeping track of critical path
 Weekly meetings with owner
 Notice to subcontractors
 Notice of delay to owner
 Notice of changes to owner
 Reviewall materials ordered for project
 Mitigation of Stop Notices in case they occur
 Review of all proposals at award date
 Budget analysis and monthly updates
 Other tasks as needed and requested by the PM.

Minimum Requirements

Education
BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting, CPA required

Technical Skills and Prior Experience
Five to seven years prior supervisory experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area. Experience working in a construction/engineering or professional services firm is preferred.

Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast -pace setting. Experience with Viewpoints a plus. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required.

Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
